Editing our final film opening - 1

January 6th 2012 - We had a big problem when trying to edit our clips today. When going onto our mac and viewing our film, Final Cut was telling us 'Media Offline'. This happened because we hadn't saved our clips onto the mac, instead we had just been keeping them on the flip cam and inserting that into the mac every time we wanted to use it. Unfortunately this meant that some of our clips had been deleted by other people using the flip cam, so we no longer had them on the time line. We decided to just edit the beginning bit again. To do this we had to import all our videos onto final cut again and start over. We managed to get this all done in an hour or so. We would come back at the end of the day to get as much done to our film opening as possible. All we have left to do now is finish off the end and start adding effects, e.g music and different motion affects. Hopefully our film will be finished by Monday.
