As we had been learning lots about building up climax throughout a film we wanted to make sure our film had as much suspense as possible, keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats. We decided that a good way to do this would be through creating a film that is physiologically scary.
Name of film (1st Idea) - 'Social Experiment'.
Story line for film (1st Idea) - The film would be centred around the story of a man and the killing of his wife and daughter through drink drivers. He wants to get revenge on the four people that were in the car that killed his family, so he decides to set up a 'social experiment'. He will invite them all to join in with this experiment and in return they will receive £1000. Each of the four people will agree to do this social experiment as they want the money. What they don't know is that they will never receive the money, because they will never make it out alive! The man will trap and torture these 4 people so much that they will either end up dead or killing themselves.
This film is all about expecting the unexpected!
To make our film opening even more scary we knew that adding music can create even more suspense/horror to a scene. We decided that when there is a clip of the little girl and daughter we would use the nursery rhyme 'Ring a round a rosies'. It will be sung in a child's voice.
Myself, Rosy and Mia wanted to get on and film our film opening as soon as possible. We started deciding who we would want playing the 4 people that killed the mans family, the man and the mother and daughter and where would we film it?
